About the Center for Pontiac Entrepreneurship
Center for Pontiac Entrepreneurship (CFPE) is dedicated to empowering aspiring entrepreneurs with the resources and skills needed to navigate their business successfully. We combine business training, leadership development, access to professional services, and financial counseling through partnerships with a direct network.
An initiative of the Pontiac Community Foundation, the Center for Pontiac Entrepreneurship helps to ensure that businesses are built on a strong foundation and that small business owners have access to necessary training and resources needed to move from a start-up phase to a well-established business.
The Center for Pontiac Entrepreneurship also serves as a hub for microenterprise and small business education and support. CFPE brings partners together to grow a culture of entrepreneurship that empowers, reflects, and represents the people of Pontiac.
Services & Programs
The Center for Pontiac Entrepreneurship helps entrepreneurs acquire
the Skills, Support and Capital to start and grow their businesses.
Skills
CFPE will offer educational and resource programming for aspiring and experienced entrepreneurs in the city and surrounding region. Small business owners will leave with increased skills and knowledge to develop their idea and/or business.
Support
CFPE will include programs that uplift and grow local businesses such as workshops, networking events, technical assistance, and more!
Capital
CFPE helps to connect entrepreneurs to capital opportunities to help them start, build and grow their business. Capital represents not only funding but also other assets that support the sustainability and growth of a business’ operations such as physical space and equipment.
